Our philosophy centres around assisting Founders to successfully realise their global business vision

As entrepreneurs first and investors second, we enjoy building high growth global business enterprises, that, through their success, are capable of making a difference to the NZ economy by creating jobs, help develop national entrepreneurship and thereby create an early stage eco-system.

We specialise in investing in early stage companies that are generally too young and unproven for venture capital or later stage investment. Nothing is too early for us. We enjoy embracing the challenges and uncertainty of an unproven product and company. We back exceptional founders and company management who have world beating ideas, enthusiasm, integrity with a strong and clear vision for their company.

We invest in companies that address large and diverse markets with reasonably short lead in times, products that are clearly differentiated, have intellectual property (IP) supported by patents and that will consume small to modest amounts of capital on their way to large profits.

Our investments generally range between $50 – $150k for Seed stage investments through to $500k - $2m for syndicated Angel stage investments.

We are an active investor, and, where we are the lead, our investments are made in partnership with the NZ Government's Seed Co-Investment Fund (SCIF), which is part of the NZ Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF). We also syndicate with other investors or investment groups especially for follow on rounds.
